I dunno how many pounds, I sometimes have a ball of reclaimed clay and wedge it thoroughly and it is silky and nice and I just make a big piece with the whole thing :)
Awwwws. I just wanna lean down and kiss that sleeping face. I think we have your kitty's sibling. I should send you a photo. That's a lot of "I" sentences, but so be it.
