its not a blizzard but it is a bit dicey out there...

About ten degrees, super windy and snowy out there, has been for a couple of days, supposed to continue that way for ...... a few months I guess.
We live east of Lake Erie and south of Lake Ontario and both dump up to 200 inches of snow on upstate NY each year (more in some spots). It is totally ordinary and routine. Our summers are very nice. I am strong as an OX thanks to shoveling :)

You've got quite a bit of snow up there, Gary. We're getting slammed down here with wind and light snow - we were going to go out and hit Big Box land for the new undies, but it'll have to wait. I'm not about to freeze my face off or anything else.

Sorry you have to moderate. Stinkin' spamola!!!

I'm sorry you're in snow land, G. We've had it, and I'm sure we'll have it again.. but for right now, it's too stinkin' cold to snow. 7 degrees with a high of 7 today. Freegin' cold.

I definitely do not envy you. Daddy said it looks like he might get snow today (he's in Southern AR).

Supposed to be a high of only 15 when the front comes though.

NO THANK Y'ALL. I can't handle being outside when it's 40 degrees. I'll keep my steamy, hot, Indian summer down here in S. TX. ;-)

Bundle up! Stay well and warm.

Very lucky here on the southern coast of Maine, we don't get as much as the inland sections do. We got about a foot or so out of this storm. Some winters we get hardly a flake. My daughter is "up north" here in Maine and she reports they got over three feet of snow! I bet she is some ole sick of shoveling now!

P.S. Love the house color! Never get lost in the snow. I meant to mention as well that we are now getting rain on top of the snow, should be good and yucky!

We don't get anything near what you guys get, but we did get 4 inches of snow here last night and today. I've been out clearing the cars and the sidewalks.

Stay warm!!

Oh, wow. Do you live in the snowbelt or what!? There have been times I've been envious of folks who live east of Erie, when Maine has had little snow, but we seem to be doing just fine in that department so far this winter. Hope it continues.

I beg your pardon, I hate spam, all kinds and wouldn't think of eating or sending it! I'm also glad to know that that's Maude carrying the bucket there, but that brings up the question, who took the picture? And one more thing? Some of those 'snowflakes' seem as large as golf balls or even tennis balls. Hope they don't hurt if one hits you.

Your house is beautiful in the snow. Did you decide on that color on a gray winter's day?

We're sharing that weather today for sure. Brrrry and snowy. You'd think it was winter or something.
