this is LA... (not)

You will recall the opening lines of Sheryl Crow's song, hmmmm?

Was dreaming a minute ago that we were shopping for an apartment in LA on foot...it was pretty comical trying to figure out how to get around LA on foot and bus without knowing the place.....there was a small apartment I liked but it was quite small and quite industrial and the traffic out front was quite busy....
I have never been to LA.  Nor are we going there.
I am glad to be here! Wonder why I have been having all these real estate dreams lately....

Sunday morning in the interest of giving the dog her money's worth (considering I was busy all day) we walked her about 5 miles first thing on the East Hill rail trail...EVERY town should have superb walking trails, right?

Penny must be pretty hearty to walk five miles--so too must her people! What beautiful scenery for walkabouts.

I'd go nuts living in LA. It's unspeakably unfriendly to walkers. Here's to the scenic, accessible small town!

I love a good walk!
And! It was great to see/read that folks were buying pottery!

I DO love that song. If you walked my dogs 5 miles, they might die. :) Sissies!!! Me? I would LOVE to walk 5 miles in a nice place.

That looks like a great time--even if you are all bundled up to do it!

I have walking trail envy. I walk 4 miles every day but not in pristine surroundings like those. Of course, I'm still out in shorts and a t-shirt so it's not all suffering in my neighborhood. :)
