zoom zoom!

I am walking Nook Thursday, the dog I babysit sometimes.  This is what happens:
We are far from home walking on the Cornell campus and he starts doing those circles...and does his business.  Right by a trash can!  GOOD BOY.  As I scoop and bag I find nearby...2 four leaf clovers!  I am like "Thanks NOOK!" and JUST THEN my favorite car of all time

an Audi TT convertible drives past!
I write a note to Nook's family:  "Nook is a lucky dog!  He helped me find 2 four leaf clovers because he pooped in a lucky spot, by a trash can!  The wife lost a bet and owes me a lottery ticket...if you see me in a new convertible, you will know I won big..."
I helpfully pick up the ticket  for her to give me and....I win!  TWO DOLLARS.

I am telling all this to the wife, and at the same time I am making car cups in the studio and I am like
"remember that kids book...with the dog in the convertible????" and she NAILS it and
YOU KNOW I love this book, for more than 40 years, right? I never forget anything THAT inspiring...
I am like "I have these 2 car cups in the studio and I should try to sell them...they are the first full size ones, I LOVE them so...I should make more of them...AND give myself the first little one!" That is the first little one above.....

Go Dog Go was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. Someone should read it with milk in your car mug.

YOU are a winner! That book; I can still recite most of it. My nephew loved it and I read it to him daily before nap time.
Zoom Zoom...those cups are super cute!
