My parents have a small farm near us. I think 3 small farms were put together to make their parcel. They are not farmers and most of their land is now forest. But there is a barn, a huge hay meadow, a pond, and apple trees. I picked apples there Sunday and we made apple sauce. The barn does hold a tractor, but mostly is my father's painting studio. They are lucky, their acres are surrounded by thousands of acres of state forest....
Other farmers cut their hay. My parents will get maple syrup in exchange....
In other news, I was rather thrilled with this vase---you can see I am loving it here....have a great Monday!

Your parents farm looks beautiful! Love the photo of you in front of the hay field.
Lovely vase, of course. That maple syrup calls to mind...bye.
That looks like a beautiful farm, how nice for them. Pretty vase too.
Looks like they're living a dream life!
A painting studio sounds wonderful.
The vase is gorgeous. I think hay in exchange for maple syrup is a great barter!
That vase is pretty magnificent Gary! The barn? Also magnificent...so your Dad is a painter??? Is everyone in your family artist/creative???
Have a great day!
