Yes. The wife calls me Smoochies lately. Not sure why, but you sure have to live up to it, you know?
AND she calls Spike the cat Spike as you might expect. Its his name. He is super intelligent, but also super chubby. He KNOWS when breakfast is and spends a couple of hours every morning asking for it. He says "5am is the new 9 am". Hmm. NO. You can see how helpful he is when I am serving him.....he does get fed 3 times a day, but he wants to be certain I don't forget....

Smoochies is the perfect name. She knows what she wants. If you left the bag of food open would Spike sit and eat it all day?

Yes. Spike would eat all day long :) And be a lot more ginormous :)
Bet Spike is going to be very happy about the time change this weekend. Meals will be one hour earlier.
i understand the feeding schedule... sophie is fed at 6am and 6pm. jz put her on that schedule because she was ridiculously waking us up to eat at 4:30 am!!! it took some time but she adjusted to the schedule and we got to sleep peacefully a little later!
