Time warp Tuesday: ancient birthday edition!

You know Jen runs Time Warp Tuesday, right? A chance to look back at your old photos?
It was my birthday week last week, as you will recall, and it is always a SHOCK when it is NOT your birthday anymore!  You are no longer special...do I sound childish? ;)

These photos are from my birthday in 1992.  I was a teacher in Chicago and flew to far northern Minnesota to see my sister's family.  Friday evening I arrived and it was 60+ degrees.  Woke up Saturday to 16 degrees and a boatload of snow...that is Minnesota, eh?
My niece's birthday is just before mine and she had just turned 2 and she certainly was an adorable kid.  People love their family and brag about them, in this case one sentence sums her up:  she got a full scholarship to Harvard and graduated last spring....

Love the pics and nostalgia. Nice big hair. I think it trumps mine from the 80s. I am from Minnesota originally so I know a boatload of snow...and accents. LOL

Happy Tuesday!

She's worth bragging about.

One day a couple of years ago I had a 100 degree temperature swing between the 80s that I left in Tampa and the -20s that I got in Duluth, MN. Fun! I think you should extend the birthday celebrations as long as you like!

Now THAT is something to brag about!!

I wished you a happy birthday on facebook, right? Yes? I hope so!! The first few days of the month, we disappeared into no-reception-zone (no cell phones, no WiFi, it was awesome... and weird)
Hope YOUR birthday was awesome... and not weird! :)

What cute photos.....I TOO hate it when my birthday is over and I can't use the "but it's my birthday" excuse. ;)
Harvard??? How awesome is she? SO awesome!
