potters work in their pajamas....

(new teapot by Gary Rith--I kinda threw everything into that one except the kitchen sink...)
You will recall that I am into everything GODZILLA lately (because I like this green glaze color scheme)....and teddy bears. Above you see a teapot I am super proud of...my very FIRST Godzilla type pottery effort. Turned out perfect. The wife likes the teeth. I am thinking I can more with the teeth in the future...anyway, as I have said, I made us some small plates too. I wanted to try bears all around the edge, dogs and cats too, and see what I think, then keep them. They turned out super good. Below you see them coming out of the kiln too...and me in my s3xy hawt jammies with bears....

I have been known to walk over and check a kiln in the pj's but I usually dress for work.

Terrific firing and love the results.

And yes to working in pjs, especially since I moved my design area upstairs for the winter.

i am really loving those cat and dog plates!

In NH my studio was not at my house, I would drive there in the early morning in my jammies to light the gas kiln... then go home, get dressed for the day and go back.
aahhh... the life of a potter!

What are pjs anyway but fuzzy pants. Your godzilla looks guilty as if he's the one who climbed up the side of the teapot and left the indentation. Loving it.

Looking awesome, Gary! I'd live in my jammies if I could get away with it...!
