the good the bad and the ugly

The good: I was super excited Christmas morning when these cups came out of the kiln. Twas definately cause for celebration! I want to make many more like this in the coming weeks.
The bad: I have had a lot of comment spam so I am going to be reviewing comments before they are published. Sorry! I hate those letter captchas HATE THEM and so I figure reviewing comments is the best I can do at the moment.
The ugly: Somewhere after 2am I had the most horrible dream about my grandfather, a lowdown dirty and horrible man who should have spent his adult life behind bars, (but did not). In the dream it is his last day and night of life and I am warned by the doctors that it is the END and I am on my way to say goodbye and there is some kind of terrible hospital scene and he passes away without any family there and so we are left both hating him and wishing we could have said goodbye and good riddance, while simultaneously feeling guilty about those genuine feelings. Which is pretty much what happened.
This blog and my life are usually the good ship lollypop, and that is a real picture of me--floating along with a smile having fun, but you know, sometimes reality intrudes, like in a nightmare. Lets just say I have been up since 3. It was intense.

I can totally relate. I had the worst nightmare last week about a girl I went to school with. She actually died in a car accident, so the dream was very alarming. She was in my bathroom, and when I spoke to her, she turned from the mirror and attacked me! I woke up sweating, with my heart beating a million miles an hour... VERY intense.

P.S. I ♥ yellow!

I hate those crazy scarey dreams. I wondered why you were on my blog at 4 am!

Love those piggy cup and saucers!

Sorry Gary. :( Sometimes dreams like that can help us work through feelings that are kind of on the back burner.

Totally off point, but I'm looking up and see "Love me love me, say that you love me." lol, I woke up this morning with that song in my head!

It sounds like the good ship lollipop got caught in a storm. I hope you get time to take a peaceful nap today. Don't you wish it were hammock weather?

Yucky dream Gary. I know you put out the good ship lolly pop, because that is WHAT you want to focus on...ME too. But sometimes that stuff just creeps back in. Have some cookies...and forget about it.
I have all comments sent for approval too, but you don't have to do the verification for it...after you get rid of the spammers that is. Happy Monday

I'll go for the good ship lollypop just so long as that simpering 'child' is left ashore!

Happy New Year, folks!

Stuff like that (your former reality) is what makes it so very wonderful that you are the cheerful soul of today.

Push those nightmares away with the beauty of those lovely piggy cups!

Those latest cups and saucers mit pigs are so cheerful and gay, just sit and contemplate the work of your own hands, Gary, and you'll know all is right in the work, evil nightmares notwithstanding! They are a delight!

I've had dreams where I'm talking to someone that has died and I wake up and sort of forget the person died...then I remember when I tell my dream story and someone (usually my mom) says "Oh that's weird that he was in your dream" then I realize why it's weird. He's not alive anymore.
