Our old black lab Buster was having a rough day Thursday. Spike cat, well known as super-friendly, spent the day cuddling with Buster. Spike is so kindly to comfort an old dog like that, aren't they all cute?
Happy weekend!

Spike is almost as big as Buster! Hope Buster is feeling better. How sweet that they're all friends. :)
Poor Buster, I hope he's feeling better. Old dogs are so wonderful, They are often so happy just to cuddle. Good job Spike.
We could all take a lesson from Spike and Buster, hug your friends and family and make them feel better.
I think Buster is nearing the final chapter of his life. Systems shutting down. I dunno, days, weeks, months? If months, not too many. He will turn 13 this winter, very old for a very big dog. But he is happy I would say, and the miracle of it is the companionship he shares with this fat cat Spike. they are 2 clowns on the couch for sure :)
Buster has magic eye in that first picture! And Penny looks kinda guilty for some reason.
So wonderful Spike is so loving and attentive to Buster. Sweet, sweet boy.
Animals seem to have their own communication. When Breezy was in her last weeks there was always at least one cat cuddled on the couch with her. They all missed her but Aloysius would go down to her house and then jump up to look outside, meowing constantly.
Give Buster a pat and treasure the endgame.
BTW that rug is utterly COOL!
I am so sad for Buster. He is such a sweet boy....and that spike, always a giver. :)
Their eyes!!! So sorry about Buster. He looks like an elderly dignitary.
Love the yellow pieces in the top photo!
Good ole' buster! Gool ole' Spike. I'm so glad they're friends.
