a thought or 2....

1) Remember that old bumper sticker "Shoot your TV"? I don't really care about ANY Jenner or Kadashian--America, are they REALLY that interesting?
 2) Speaking of which, we saw the movie MONUMENTS MEN last night with Clooney and Damon, et al, and it is superb and fantastic. What else would you expect.....
3)  I was thinking of mixing up some white glaze yesterday, and I DID (thanks for suggesting it, readers, for pots with impressed flowers!) and found my notes for a glaze I used 20 years ago...TWENTY!  I was like "DANG this takes me back, and I am gonna use it and its variations SOON as I get some fresh buckets...".
It is useful sometimes to packrat a lot of crap around thinking "I might need this someday".
4)  I have more to tell Wednesday...go to comments YOURSELF and give us a thought or 2...

When I was packing up my home office last week, I found a thick file folder, belonging to Jz, full of glaze recipes! Most are all handwritten. I threw a lot of stuff out, but definitely hung on to that. Can't wait to spend some time with it when things settle down.

Love those white glazes with tin oxide (the price of tin oxide makes me jittery, though). The vases are way cool and the drawing on top of the white glaze looks so cheerful!

Monuments Men was a great movie, I really enjoyed it also.

Good job with the white slip, it’s nice to revisit old friends whatever form they take.

White glaze! What a great idea. :) Although I think those imprinted flower vases would be amazing in your famous celadon glaze too.
