bottlepalooza!

Me and my 2 potter friends, Michelle from North Carolina and Lori from Georgia have an exhibition group called "3 Potters 3 bloggers".  We challenge each other to make an item, then exhibit here online, and today it is BOTTLES!!!!!! Oh WOW look what they have done....

Michelle Hastings made this amazing bottle, wowie! It and more like it at her etsy shoppe!

Carved Horse Hair Bottle

You always hope that something like this gets your ideas rolling, and my ideas are still rolling, I finished the below yesterday, not yet fired.  To make a very pretty round bottle shape is, I find, challenging when you want to make the lip wide, you know?  Then I made stoppers for each....

My bottles below for sale now at my etsy shoppe!!!!!

Your stoppers are so fun. I just love them.

Thanks for the links and the kind words, it's been fun doing this with you and Michele.

Cool stoppers! I look forward to seeing the fired versions of your bottles. And that dark blue one with the lighter blue "waves" on it? Gorgeous!
