My buddy Tracy Helgeson came from way over in Cooperstown to our area last night: a party in her honor for the opening of a gallery show here. Her paintings are super awesome aren't they? (Stevo on the left, his wife Judy, my missus and Tracy) Tracy has done zillions of landscapes and buildings in recent years, and started doing these school photo and portrait type things. She buys up anonymous lots of pictures online from all over, and looks for portraits with character.
Saturday was glorious and warm and sunny, just as it was in 2001 on 9/11.
Stevo and his wife Judy live in the greatest farmhouse, which they have been decorating for years. I love it, out amongst real farms, fields and other pretty farm houses. That is my blue bowl. Anna, a future daughter-in-law of Stevo's, and pal of mine, made the bowl on the right--she is super talented. Stevo and Judy have 3 kids, all are now grown and incollege and beyond, the nicest family. Their 2 cats are pretty awesome, and so is their little bundle of joy TANK, an energetic young lab...

I love farm houses! If I didn't have this round monster, I would have been looking for a farm house to renovate. Tank?! That is a perfect name for that cute woofer! :)
The big smile on your wife's face is beautiful. Your friends are so varied and talented.
I love the red house!!!! I always wanted a red house. or a medieval castle, or maybe I could have a red studio beside my medieval castle,...
Steve-O looks hardly borg-like here.
Was this pre-assimiliation?
Those are really cool paintings!
You guys have all kinds of great friends!
Oh what fun, and love the paintings...how cool are they? Really nice photos, and everyone so happy and having fun! It is probably from eating out of great pottery.....lol lol lol...:) Love the name Tank also...! :) What a sweet pupper! and Oh Penny, getting her massage...ahhhhh! Perfect Day! :)
What a great picture of Tank! Saturday was great here, too. Today, not so much.
Tank's motto is, "Why go around something, when you can go through it."
Those paintings are very cool! I love that the farmhouse has all those bowls from all those artist.
