the usual blahblahblah, snow, pigs, pots, wait, what time is it?

The dog and I rolled out of bed, glasses still on the desk, awake, refreshed, ready for day!  The dog goes out and eats, I start the kiln which I had prepared Friday and pour a hot coffee, put on the glasses, sit down at the computer and.... 2 something AM, WTF?  I love early mornings, love love love, but this is a little surprising...
OK, snow?  Just a regular storm for us, maybe 8 inches out there and looks like it stopped here in central NY.  Road out there is clear.  It has been sticky and maybe there will be pretty photos later....

And below?  A little more quilted pots!!!!! And a piggy roundup... I wanted a photo showing my regular piggy along with the pocket sized and the sitting.  Everybody makes the ones with the cork, but the very small ones?  The SITTING?
Have a great weekend!

Love your quilted bowls and pitcher. The piggies are adorable, too, especially the sitting one.

Glad to hear that you didn't get hammered by the storm like my relatives on the coast of Maine did. They are still getting more snow as I type, up until around noon on Saturday.

I snitched this official definition of a blizzard from a weather report: "For a storm to end up in the official blizzard record books, its winds must remain sustained at 35 mph or higher and coincide with the very intense snow. Visibilities under 1/4 mile must be recorded for three hours or longer."

Well, I already think of you as the kind of animal-decorated pots...now what can I call the guy who makes lovely quilted pottery? MMmm.

Seriously 2 in the a.m.? Someone needs to go back to bed and hibernate a little longer. I think the snow threw off your biological clock! However, you are quite chipper in the wee hours of the a.m. and those pots are wonderful. Happy Snow Day!

The sitting piggy reminds me a little of the Buddha. You will have put in a full day by the time I finish my first cup of coffee! Hope you don't get too tired out.
