BLIZZARD calls for emergency peanut butter-chocolate cookies...

It wasn't that bad, for us.  Maybe 12 fresh inches snow? We went nowhere except around the village with the dog a few times... a little shoveling, baked cookies (everybody knows these lovely 4 ingredient peanut butter cookies, to which I like to add half cup choc chips and half cup peanuts), played cards.  We are lucky:  our street is a state highway and kept very clear by the plows because of emergency vehicles, and we live close to the utility, seemingly our power is always good :)  Twas quite pretty!!!!

Glad you were spared the brunt of the blizzard. My daughter in CT had 34"! Last night her road still hadn't been plowed, and they live in the city on a main road.

Snow and cookies. Works for me! Of course I'm today I'm having sunny and 75 degrees and fresh strawberry pie so that also works for me! :)

Spike definitely has the right idea for what to do in case of snow: settle down for a long winter's nap.

Those snow photos are like a fairy tale. So pretty...so cold! Do you have to shovel snow from a balcony? Does snow hold together on the shovel or fall off like sand? It's amazing.
