some new mugs and ideas for them...
YES, I have been monkeying around with mugs…above you see the waves that I started carving into pieces going HORIZONTAL. I had been making them vertical, as below, and wanted to know if I could do horizontal, which is, DUH, easier than vertical…and using that dark teal, yeOW! That glaze combo is looking GOOD….plus other work, and thanks for checking in!

I like making the marks horizonal with a slow moving wheel...I like that the marks run along the planes of the throwing marks. Then I'll get on a kick where it's vertical....These mugs are beautiful and the glaze is fantastic.
You keep reinventing your craft.. and it's always lovely.
