You know that Soupy is a cute little corgi that has been added to my babysitting list. Fortunately, she has been our beagle Penny's friend for a few years and we have a nice fenced in yard.
I endeavored to sculpt a wee Soupy, and it kinda captures her essence....
It had been a while since I sculpted a hippo wall piece...so I did! It cracked a little on the surface, and it was one of those rare moments when a potter says " OH GOODY it cracked, so I can keep it!" and it went right up on the wall....

Is there a story behind Soupy's name? I keep picturing Soupy Sales, the pie-in-the-face comedian.
