you know you had a GREAT summer weekend when you fall asleep at 7...

Yep.
You saw yesterday the 21 pictures of me at my parents' farm...it was so pretty, I was hiking and swimming the whole time.  And I seem to have done what 3 year olds do after that sort of day...fallen asleep at 7.  My body has that pleasant feeling of aches that follow extreme activity too.

Before I left, these guys came outta the kiln.  If I ever feel like I have not accomplished anything in life, I can look at these and say "OH! Maybe I have done something worthwhile... " :)
Have an awesome week!

Those little elephant jars are just the cutest things. (My elephant teapot still makes me smile!)
Self employed potters need to remember that we deserve time off too!
Happy Summer!

I love jars, and elephants, and was just listening to a "Sci Fri" audio podcast about "Elephants Mating Pandemonium" done by a scientist from Cornell in your home town of Ithica...seems synchronous, no?
