"What greater gift than the love of a cat" --Charles Dickins

“Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.”
 Robert A. Heinlein

Ever watched mama tiger licking baby tiger, or a pride of lions licking each other?  These huge, fierce, proud beasts showing affection, grooming one another.

Spike's window perch is directly behind my chair at the kitchen table, where he has his own bird feeder for entertainment.  Yesterday I was surprised with a BELT SANDER to the head...but no,  just Spike deciding to groom ME.

Spike has obviously been taking ESP lessons from his cousin Aloysious! Just wait until he starts trimming your hair!

Well, your shampoo better be butter! I'm sure he got your hairs all lined up right!

My cat groomed my hand for a good ten minutes yesterday, even though she does have another cat to groom instead. Cats be crazy!

I'd make an offer for that cute cat! Lulu likes to lick heads and eyebrows in the morning when she wants breakfast. Eeeeewww. No thank you, Miss Lu!

When Gwen was younger she did this too --but when you're hair is long, the cat begins to choke after a while!

LOL...mine comes into bed and if I make any sort of eye contact, it's on like donkey kong...I have to hide my arms or he will "groom" the inside part of my elbow/arm....for what seems to be 10 hours....
