Before we go in we walk the extensive woodland trails outside of Longview, so Penny can burn some energy before we go in. Yesterday a deer walked up to us! So friendly! Then Penny went bananas and it moved away a little bit....
Penny likes elevators, as you can see....she pretty much likes everything....except other dogs....chipmunks, and, well, deer.....
You will remember that me and my pals are gearing up for an online pottery exhibit, starting Wednesday! We challenged ourselves to make bottles! More on that tomorrow, but dig this resealable bottle TODAY, for sale now at my etsy shoppe!

Having read your blog for a while; it is apparent you are one of those special folk; talented and kind-hearted. Oh, yes; I love that bottle too.
So sweet that you and Penny do these important visit. That's such a kindness. Love the bottle and the deer.. so sweet.
It's rare to find a dog that doesn't go a bit crazy when it sees a deer. Now she has some stories for her friends.
I know from our visit there a few years ago that Penny is indeed a sweetheart. I'm so glad you do this with her, going to bring joy to these folks. You never know what sort of happy memories are brought back to life with a simple wag of a tail at a gentle touch.
