I was reading something last night, about pets and your bed. Polls show almost half of pet owners sleep with their dog or cat, one reason being because they are WARM.
It is five degrees outside. I don't know if it is a record, but it is cold enough, and there is a ton of snow out there…well, several inches. The worst winter weather of our whole season, lasting for another week, perhaps. You need a little beagle teddy bear under the covers in these circumstances….

There's a psychological warmth pets give us too. Even as I write I have three kitties draped over my feet, legs etc.
Now I don't feel quite so bad; it's thirty here. That's cold enough thanks!
I know when the apartment is cooler than my bed when the cat appears and wants to cuddle. Unfortunately she doesn't stay in the twin bed I now sleep in...she's a queen size after all. No comment about my size! Sorry to hear about your snow, no fun!
Like Barbara, my cat sleeps with us when it's chilly or joins us in the morning when she thinks it might be time to eat.
That's a neat jar with the beagle knob. Penny is such an inspiration!
