Campbell Meadow...

You will recall we drove to the Adirondacks and climber Blue Mountain last week...but yesterday we set out from the house, walked down the river to Campbell Meadow.  It is a gem of a park recently deeded to the town who cares for it beautifully.  Only a few acres in size, it has hidden coves and waterfalls on the riverbank and caves or canopies made of willow trees...in the spring it is a water meadow, meaning, flooded over, and now it is a series of ponds and trails by the riverbank.  It was a beautiful misty September morning....
