the kitten shark

(shark bowls by Gary Rith--impossibly cute AND useful, yet hilarious)
I mentioned yesterday that Spike is a very good cat...except in the moments leading up to mealtime when he is SHARKLIKE.  I told you he always knocks things down...like this little painting we have next to the microwave, which also happens to picture a cat......the wife is APPALLED I would post this "but the cat is on the counter!".  I know.  It isn't MY fault....

note fangs....

You probably need to get your sweetie an awesome pair of mugs like this for Valentine's...special deal now at my etsy shoppe!

fantastic deal on a pair of frog mugs

Personally I like Gary's shoes/slippers! They go so well with Spike! Oh, and I think the shark bowls are too cute!

Ha Ha! I love the fang picture. Cats on the counter are the bane of my existence. However, I will say that anyone who has pets and who thinks that they do not go on the counters, furniture, etc. is crazy. I often joke that my counters are probably some of the cleanest ever because I just assume someone has been up there wandering around and clean them every time I make something in the kitchen.

That doesn't mean that I don't yell at cats all day long anyway....

I used to be like the people Claudia mentions. My previous cat NEVER got on the counter, thought I. Until the day I found tongue shaped indentations in the butter I had left uncovered on the counter. My two current cats (Mrs. G's Baxtard is one) are on every surface in the house, no matter how many times I tell them "no."
Love the shark bowl---is it also a yarn bowl?

Homer admires Spike's perseverance. Homer has given up on the counter, although he is sharklike on the floor.

it could be used as a yarn bowl, although that is not the original idea...it is just a bowl :)

I love the pussies, like one of mine - all innocent eyes!!! Cute bowls and mugs too.
