going that one step further...with the cats.....

You will recall that this week after Pete was like "make cat mugs! People love cats!" that I have tried different cat shapes...then I was thinking, as you would, MAKE A CAT teaset" and so Saturday, I did. You see the doodle below....I realized before I made the set that it would be more fun to make the lid with the ears, you know?

Well, man, there was one guy, Gary Rith they called him, got heavily into the whole catnip thing, back in 2012, I tell ya, it was horrible... Poor guy sprouted them long whiskers, started scratching up the furniture, hanging around fish-shops....

It took three animal-control officers to get him in the crate...

Just stay off the cat-nip, kids.

Glad to see you finally embracing your inner Crazy Cat Lady! (says the well out of the closet crazy cat lady herself.) Hey, is that a mouse on the lid of a teapot in the doodle? That's a GREAT idea!

Purrrfect. I like the add on ears the best. Great idea...I have been wondering how long it will take you to make the ultimate Godzilla teapot or an elephant one with the trunk as a spout? Thanks for the bonus mug! Hard to believe how quickly those pots travelled to the other side of the world. Much admired by the Mildura pottery club members.

I think you should try making a cat riding the back of a dragon. Cats are always in charge, anyway...
Really cool pots. Amazing stuff...
