I have so many visitors year 'round, I try to corral some of those visitors into 2 open studios, this past weekend plus Fri-Sat after Thanksgiving. You know, one big cleanup rather than year 'round visitors seeing my usual filthy conditions. The wife gets pretty fierce about the things I don't notice, like dusting....
Some great friends came over on a gorgeous weekend and my mom and dad surprised us too...well, not really...my mom had been asking on the phone "so, um, what are the hours...? Where does everybody expect to park....????" So we were expecting them to surprise us :)
