apple pie minus the pie!

There are a lot of good reasons settlers planted apple trees all over the place a couple hundred years ago.  Apples store well and are SO tasty.  People get  excited over fall and pumpkin spice but DANG, nothing beats apples and cinnamon. When our last house was for sale and the realtor was bringing potential buyers to visit I would burn my lucky apple pie candle and you KNOW that house sold easily :)

I tell the wife Friday "baked apples and pancakes would be tasty wouldn't it?" and she was like
"!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So, Saturday we had that little feast for breakfast...and you should too!  Just an apple cored, stuffed with a little sugar, raisins nuts, baked then eaten, YUM! (recipe here) have a great Sunday!

Sounds (and I'm sure smells) delicious! I've gotten to love gluten free pancakes!

It IS apple season, isn't it? I still want it to be summer, though.
