I am at a harvest festival today near my house. Six Mile Creek Winery is a) a real creek and b) a real winery and c) they really DO harvest around now and d) their wine is superb and e) there are wineries all over NY but this one is Ithaca's only and f) today is music and wine and stuff! g) they are so nice to me and everybody and h) unfortch, the weather report is not too great. It has been a gorgeous 2 day event in recent years, warm and sunny...just one day this year with a gloomy-ass weather report, OH WELL. You could come on out...have a great weekend!

Your little animals are such a great addition to good pottery. I just realized they are glazed completely differently than the main body, so you somehow keep them from getting the second glaze on them...good waxing?
Wishing you great sales despite the weather. No matter what, bring home a bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner.

I wonder if 'working' an event gives you a chance to enjoy all the amenities of the weekend.
