FRIED CAT and other nasty things around the kitchen....

(mug with Godzilla on the bottom by Gary Rith)
Call it an early April fool joke:  there you are drinking your half caf skinny latte and WHOA! There goes Godzilla, swimming in your froth....

It remains COLD and snowy here.  Spike found some warm on the stovetop...which is not allowed, of course, yet still funny :)  Happy Wednesday!

Spike is definitely a big boy...which shows next to burners and tea kettle better than next to Penny! Godzilla in a latte' is just perfect though.

Spike is looking quite content.
I had a cat that would sleep on the stove in the middle of the night when she thought no one would see her.

Godzilla in a cup! Perfect!
@ Spike: You are giving Aloysius terrible ideas!

Our cats have not discovered the kitchen stove (yet), but one of them jumps on the woodstove when it's cold. I am grateful that Homer's girth prevents him from jumping up to anything higher than the kitchen table.

I spend most of my day uttering the words, "Henry, get down!" He doesn't sit on the stove...yet. Makes me crazy.

Perhaps Spike was going to make some soup??
