no, we didn't get 6 feet snow here....

When I was a kid we lived near Buffalo. Our town of Brockport, NY was lucky enough to get dumped on by Lake Erie snows OR Lake Ontario snows, depending on which way the wind was blowing.  Ithaca's weather is not exactly gorgeous, but not as bad as that.  Lake effect snows are the worst, maybe, up to 100 miles from the Great Lakes, and we get plenty...but not this one.  We are just far enough away... I am a not child-like or romantic snow lover...it is a dangerous nuisance!

I grew up with this book on the shelf, and now it is on our bookshelves...just full of wonderful pictures!
That cover dragon looks pretty fierce, though, and my work looks pretty cheerful, right? have an awesome Wednesday!

Cute gators...well, I did go to UF. If they are dragons, they sure are friendly...or godzilla want-to-bes...yes!

Dragons are good for kiln firings.

I wondered if you were snowed in. :-/

I think Tom grew up with that book too.

Yeah, there really isn't any place where six feet of snow is a good thing if you're an adult :-)

We only get cold here (so far) but my son ran a cross-country race in a half-foot of snow on Saturday. Crazy stuff.
That lake-effect snow that dumped in Buffalo is rather frightening (and I love snow)!

Brrrrr. We're still waiting for rain. Darn crazy weather patterns.
