172 pounds of slobber: and you thought Yogi was big.....

OK, you know I babysit Yogi, right? He is a very good young golden doodle who lives across the street, our cat and dog's best friend.  He comes over here and plays with them all the time....
I tell his family we have a field trip planned:

"OK if we go to the dog park?"
"Sure, but won't Penny be jealous?"
"Well, she won't KNOW, but she can't go to the dog park."
"?"
"She would try to escape under the fence after attacking a pitt bull...she doesn't like other dogs (except YOGI!).  She is an adorable, sweet natured beagle, so friendly with people and kids, but she picks fights with other dogs.... Yogi loves other dogs!"

Actually, Yogi loves EVERYTHING.  He rides like a champ in the car.

The dog park is at the far end of Cass Park, on Cayuga Lake, so pretty.... you will see below the 172 pounds of friendly slobber.... a friendly St Bernard that makes Yogi look like a little puppy, and Yogi is BIG.

Yogi appears to be the life of the party at the park. I can't believe he is 172 lbs!!!! That means the st. Bernarnd is more??? You are so nice to take the time to let Yogi get some play time!

Yogi!!! I'm a sucker for dog posts. Love that old caboose at the park too.

Dog parks are such a great idea --it's so fun to see pictures of them all playing together, instead of each being trapped in their own yard. Pity about Penny. Our cat is like that --she loves people, but hates all other cats :-)
