Time Warp Tuesday: manly yes, but I like it too....

You know Jen does Time Warp Tuesday, a chance to look back at old snaps, right?

All kinds of stuff is in my desk.  The other day I came across these!  It is a pair of pics from 2000.  For 7 years I went to the Warner, NH area farmer's mkt near our house every summer and fall Saturday morning.  ME AND MY STACHE went, right?  I love seeing old pics of my work because I cannot remember what I have made...nice items there, hmm?  I sold a lot of piggies then, 20 different types on the right, you can see sheep banks, turtle, cat, etc.... I no longer bother with the brown trout thing...just Gary Rith pottery, but back then, you named things, right?  Esp. a cutesy, country-ish name...
AND THAT STACHE!  Had that ten years.  Twas manly, yes?
The other photo is a few miles down the road the other way, the wife at Lake Sunapee. She looks pretty delightful, hmmm?

If you are my age, you remember Irish Spring ads on TV:  a wee lass saying of a certain GREEN and fragrant soap "manly yes, but I like it too" and she would hug a dude in a thick sweater....
ANYWAY, here is some of that bright green soap, our sink!  The wife has not noticed yet that I gave us a tile for the soap, nor has she noticed I am posting our BATHROOM for the world to see....I made that cup too, of course, makes a good pair eh?

Can never make enough piggy items, can you????

You probably need a pink piggy bank, for sale now at my etsy shoppe!pink piggy bank

That was a neat setup for sales markets. Pretty wood finished boxes etc. Stash is cool of course! I forgot to say yesterday, hip hip hoorah for your coffee cone dripper...I've got to make a second one for myself since the first has been banged about in the kitchen and an edge of the bottom came away, just room for the spoon to stick out, so I want to make the next one that way on purpose. I didn't have a handle on mine tho. Best tasting coffee tho, what? Thanks for all the pigs!

Yay for NH!
My bro-in-law was sportin' one of those 'staches back then too. I wonder when they will be back in style...

That's a sweet froggy on the tile.

Oh the 'stache pics do crack me up. You might find it amusing that I buy Irish Spring soap to keep the tree frogs out of my flower bucket on my front door. Ah, the joys of living in Florida....

As much as I don't appreciate facial hair, I have a fondness for the moustache as an old love had a very nice one.

Gota get it together and buy a pig item for my daughter...

You rocked the 'stache. Seriously.

I love all the blue. On my list of things to buy when I'm done paying for college is pottery from Gary.

And, yes, Irish spring commercials with those gorgeous Fishermen's sweaters! And the showering in a waterfall!
