Monday's with Penny.....
As you will recall, Penny is a volunteer at Longview, a senior living facility. Rarely have the 2 of us found it easier to have so much fun :)
You are so wonderful Gary. I know it is Penny who is licking, sniffing and being petted....but you taking the time to bring to visit? Amazing. Those older folks do get lonely, you are doing a great thing! Kudos to you. xo
I used to help my mom when she visited the senior's home with our dachshunds. I was always sad to leave, since sometimes the elderly would start to cry when we were packing up, missing their own dogs from the past. I wish they would see how beneficial it is to have a pet on the premises full time. Love that you are doing this Gary and Penny! Makes me smile!
I love this....
ReplyDeleteWhat a great event for both you and Penny to enjoy.. and of course for the lovely residents of Longview. Good job, Penny!
ReplyDeleteGood stuff here, Gary. These are great smiles.
ReplyDeleteLook at how happy she makes people. It's a very sweet thing you are doing.
ReplyDeletemy heart is melting. this is the cutest thing.
ReplyDeleteheartwarming photos!
ReplyDeleteOne just has to see the smiles on the residents faces to know that Penny and you are a hit!
ReplyDeletePenny must be one of the sweetest pups around...oh yeah and it looks like the two-legged guy with her is spreading some smiles too!
