The alarm goes off and I had been dreaming that I won the lead in my 8th grade play....Tiny Tim on Ice. I got to wear white skates and swoop and dance and.....you get the idea :) In reality, I can't skate...and I left 8th grade behind a long time ago!
I showed the making and firing of this teaset last week. Turned out so nicely, subtle blue checkerboard color under turquoise, that I made sugar bowl and creamer to match.....they are not fired yet, but I am glazing to match today....
have an awesome Tuesday!
(new pottery by Gary Rith...I went to town on that sugar bowl, didn't I)
I love the modern (or is it post-post-modern?) style of your new mugs and the sugar creamer! Elegant!
ReplyDeleteOh my, just watched the video...blushing here!
ReplyDeleteLove the whole teaset - very clean lines and fun shapes!
ReplyDeleteWell, Gary, I think your dreams have come true!
ReplyDeleteSomehow, as nice and the tea set comes together, the video sort of puts a new "spin" on a lot of the Freudian imagery in your handles and spouts...
Cracks me up every time I see this video! Thanks for the laugh, Gary!
ReplyDeleteYou have totally made my day with that video. Totally hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThat tea set is GORGEOUS! Love the turquoise glaze. So pretty.
Oh, my, Gary! Those are absolutely gorgeous!
