On the way up the lake on a GORGEOUS summer day we went to the peach orchard...holy CATS what heaven in a basket, and we have so many peaches we are gonna make jam this weekend....AND stopped at the sunflower farm too, to see the ocean of yellow goodness waving in the wind....

ReplyDeleteThe peaches must be really good there. We bought a peach at the store yesterday and it was so good we wanted more. We are thinking that we will have to get a peach tree next year.
Gary... try peach chutney with some of the peaches. Its awesome with almost anything. We made some recently and I've been dabbing it on my veggies.

ReplyDeleteThis summer, while visiting my friend Anne in VA, we took the homemade strawberry jam that she had made and mixed it into the Greek yogurt that we put on granola for breakfast each morning. Wow! Was that good! A bircher muesli with jam. YUM!
