I have become an OLD MAN and dearly wish that the EVENINGS around July 4th featured heavy rains, thus driving all the late night partiers and their noisemakers inside. I am not sure where humanity got the idea that LOUD NOISES are a good idea….

We haven't heard any fireworks this weekend. Tonight could be a different story. I think it's because we are now within city limits that we don't hear any from neighbors. Last year I was in NH at Lake Winnipesaukee... fireworks EVERY night for a week!
