Sure, Pooh set the standard for honey pots, rights? Of a certain round shape with ridges. I hope I don't sound silly when I tell you I loved the Pooh stories….remember the one where it is Eeyore's birthday and Pooh is going to give Eeyore a jar of honey? And Piglet is giving him a balloon? Piglet breaks the balloon and Pooh eats the honey, but they give Eeyore the empty pot and deflated balloon scrap…and Eeyore is just so pleased to get gifts and figures it is great that he has a pot and something to put in it….
ANYWAY, here is mine, it is quite big, because I have had these long honey dippers hanging around for the last 10-20 years… flower on one side, a bee pressed into the other….
Nice pot!
ReplyDeletePooh and friends were great favorites in our house.
That is when I fell even more in love with Eeyore (who was my absolute favorite Pooh character!)
ReplyDeleteNice pot. I was just telling a student who has bees that we should work on some of those - although she has only been throwing for a few days, she's a natural.
I love it! Want to see the bee too though! Yes, Eyore and the gang were part of my household too, at least during the years the boys were young. After Star Wars, I think Pooh kind of disappeared.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome honey pot.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't everyone have a soft spot for pooh? I sure hope so.
Gotta love Pooh Bear.
ReplyDeleteI love honey and bee paraphernalia. Well, you know my name, you understand.
