I have made a few handles like this, crosshatched grip, tapered ends…a bit tricky but worth trying some more, hmm?
We are expecting a dry, semi-clear weekend. We are too far north for this blizzard, and Lake Ontario and Lake Erie are only dumping on Buffalo right now, so DANG, friends, be safe, ride it out in style if you can!
That's an elegant teapot. I really like those long, over the top handles.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were spared the blizzard. You get enough weather, most winters, without getting this one.
Living North paid off here too...mildish weather, above zero for the first time in a few weeks and the snow held off.(somewhere near Winnipeg, MB Canada)
ReplyDeleteI love teapots with long tall handles. Until you make a pot of tea and pour it out, you just don't realize how much easier it is holding the weight from the top and just tipping a little, compared to those poor little side handles which mean lifting more weight with a smaller area. It's scientific folks!
ReplyDeleteThat is one beautiful pot. I love everything about this.
ReplyDeleteThe ultra-long handle is quite elegant, and I love the glazing on this one pot, too.
