slow and steady wins the race....
These turtle banks turned out rather well, don't you agree? There are holes for corks underneath...

I loved to shake my coins out of banks when I was a girl. One was a cash register bank, and I figured out how to slip a knife into the slot in the back to get money out. Don't remember ever putting money in...mmm, what does that say about me! PS, the turtles are really great!
Those turtles will beat a hare any day!
