6 months in the making....
6 months ago on January 1 I dreamt I should try to make flowers on pots, very unusual for me. I have been trying it since then in different ways and this week, 6 months later, I am excited by 2 different ways to do it. Oh yes, I have tried many ways...but what I like best, I think, at this moment, is this pair of experiments just out of the kiln, brushwork atop white glaze and blue under a celadon, AH HA!
I really have a hard time sitting still. I can't help but experiment and try to innovate, thanks for watching me along the line :)
OINK!! Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are a really nice touch!!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed following your flower experiment!
ReplyDeleteYou have a great brush technique. Love the blurred quality on the celadon vase! Looks ancient! And that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteAlways stretching and growing! Thanks for sharing the journey. The masthead picture of Penny in her hipster get up makes me smile every time I visit the blog.
ReplyDeleteIt’s nice when you follow your dreams and they become pretty pots.
