looking for sunshine...
(new vases by gary Rith)
OK, sure, enough of this bachelor stuff: the wife returns from travels today, not a minute too late indeed. The highlight of Monday was going to the barber...same location, different barber THANK GOODNESS. Joel seems a lot better than Carol, who is very aggressive in going after my curls, so that I don't need to go back for a LONG time...which I s'pose saves me money in the long term, but is a little too Marine Corps for me....
Golly we have had RAIN. It was getting dusty out there, but whoa! I think our river is flooding there has been so much rain in 12 hours....
I talked about these stamp pressed flower vases last week and mixing white glazes..GREAT suggestion. I havn't used a white glaze in a very long time, and it inspired me to tinker with ANOTHER spring green celadon which OH MY turned out schweet......
Have a terrific and awesome Tuesday!
It's nice to enjoy some alone time, but it's super sweet when the significant other comes home. We had a little rain last night, but not nearly enough.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do more with this idea! These are a great start of something wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove these vases! I hope you're liking your experiments in white glaze. I think it's gorgeous. Of course, I'm loving the green vase too but I'm programmed that way. :)
ReplyDeleteYou know there ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone.
