"What greater gift than the love of a cat" --Charles Dickins

“Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.”
 Robert A. Heinlein

Ever watched mama tiger licking baby tiger, or a pride of lions licking each other?  These huge, fierce, proud beasts showing affection, grooming one another.

Spike's window perch is directly behind my chair at the kitchen table, where he has his own bird feeder for entertainment.  Yesterday I was surprised with a BELT SANDER to the head...but no,  just Spike deciding to groom ME.

  1. Spike has obviously been taking ESP lessons from his cousin Aloysious! Just wait until he starts trimming your hair!

  3. My cat groomed my hand for a good ten minutes yesterday, even though she does have another cat to groom instead. Cats be crazy!

  9. When Gwen was younger she did this too --but when you're hair is long, the cat begins to choke after a while!
