If you are always playing with form and decoration in pottery, it feels like you are shooting an arrow at a target blindfolded. You have an idea about where the target is, in your mind, and you have to get it there somehow.... so you shoot and then check to see if you got it. I really like tall and willowy, nicely rounded shapes...but in the making, how do you get there?
I got there with these pitchers. Have an awesome Monday!

Lovely. I like the way the two greens work together.
ReplyDeletewell, after thinking you were going to post about your wife, I was shocked and amazed at the fabulous header photo of bee, flower and Ms Penny (not exactly tall and willowy)...and then I fell in love with your pitchers. I can just imagine the balance in the handles...how they would feel pouring my lemonade!
ReplyDeleteWell, I must admit that I saw this post title and thought it was about your missus. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe pitchers are lovely too!
The pitchers are beautiful, but however did you get that header photo? The bee and flower in perfect focus --kind of amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw them on Pinterest I wondered if they were full size or miniature. They are lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat shape, good balance.
ReplyDeletePerfect! :) Good August Tuesday to you! T.
