speaking of YELLOW
(a yellow bowl with Gary Rith, the guy who made it, and why, say, lookit the yellow tee...)
Yellow could be one of those things where you wake up one day in your 40s and realize you are VERY fond of a color you have seemingly ignored your whole life. Is it part of the maturation process? Like discovering you love French and Italian white wines and can't remember your last beer????
I find myself admiring buttery yellow houses...daffodils and iris too!
I am even exploring the delights of .... pink. Not bright bubblegum pink, but a nice floral pink, as you will recall in Sundays post about pink drinks....
but really, the group of 4 new bowls below shows my biggest favorites together...have an awesome Friday!
(new pottery by Gary Rith)
Ahhhh…..buttery yellow. Such a soothing color. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI actually had a dream about yellow last night. I think a person was named yellow…or it was a movie named yellow??? damn french wine before bed. HA
Those colors look very festive together. I can't imagine not feeling happy if I woke up to breakfast in one of those pretty bows.
ReplyDeleteThanks for awesome wishes, Gary. Love the swirls that lead the eye around, and might be symbols of something, or another!
ReplyDeleteLovely, and I think a pink bowl in that group would be even better.
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow glaze! Yellow is a happy color.
