slothful SUNDAY...in the studio

OK, as a retailer getting deep into the Christmas season?  I have driven hundreds of miles in the last 2 days delivering pots here and there, meeting customers, going to far flung galleries, and I am WHIPPED.  No, wait, I am like "I just wanna glaze today, wander around in my socks, make a ____ and a _____".

SO, despite my many other plans responsibilities, I am going to simply putter about the studio today and make the stuff I want to make and IGNORE what I was s'posed to do.

That is an artist, I guess, a person who sees a day WORKING as a day of rest :)
here is a pair of pitchers I just made, mmm mmm good!

  2. Indeed those are a couple of beauties!

Aren't we fortunate that our relaxation is what we do for work?Pup and Puss Pats do a lot to calm one's soul.

    Happy mudding!

  3. Love your classic pitcher shapes! Definitely in support of your choice to rest at creativity.

  4. Love the pitchers! What's the saying "a change is as good as a rest"? I'm struck how we often think we're supposed to be like the machines we invented: able to run non-stop with little to no maintenance. Glad so see you're bucking the trend.
