My parents have a small farm near us. I think 3 small farms were put together to make their parcel. They are not farmers and most of their land is now forest. But there is a barn, a huge hay meadow, a pond, and apple trees. I picked apples there Sunday and we made apple sauce. The barn does hold a tractor, but mostly is my father's painting studio. They are lucky, their acres are surrounded by thousands of acres of state forest....
Other farmers cut their hay. My parents will get maple syrup in exchange....
In other news, I was rather thrilled with this vase---you can see I am loving it here....have a great Monday!
Your parents farm looks beautiful! Love the photo of you in front of the hay field.
