why do I make anything else?
I have told you that I loved classic junk sci-fi movies from the 50s. Godzilla, robots, aliens, swamp things, werewolves! I have never liked Star Trek nor did I ever watch it, and I have never seen Star Wars or anything like that, I just like the old LOW TECH junk that came before it. The style! The design! So adorable and fun!
That said, I make something like the sugar bowl here and wonder why I bother making anything else? I mean, it is so fun! You sure don't see me gladly making toothbrush holders when I could be spending my time on this instead ;)

ReplyDeleteCan you think of a way to "mash up" the phrases "follow your bliss" and "take me to your leader"? Both came to mind as I read your post and looked at the visuals. The fun you have making the pots shows up in the work, I'd say!
