the whole kit and caboodle
Kinda has double meaning for today. I was thinking, finally I can show you a picture of our house, painted top to bottom, fence and all....the whole kit and caboodle! Then its like, well, half this post post is also about our chubby but heroic cat (see the haiku from a couple days ago, about Spike cat catching the enormous mouse in the living room).
So, the before, 3 weeks ago...good golly it looked summery then!
The purple house was cool, but I dig the new paint job. It has a cool, classic, old school thing going on. And lets hear it for pets that double as rodent killers! I am hoping to train a cat to work the same magic on the mole that has been wrecking our yard.
Yeah to Spike the conquering mouser! House is so "uncluttered" looking, now that plants are all gone. But it's definitely classic. And the lack of clutter is probably a good thing, now that I think about it.
The vines and flowers are all awesome, but die back for winter anyway. I love the new paint job so much though, will I ever let anything grow near the house again?
Nice before and after. Spike is indeed a Super Cat! I take it the grooming poses are part of his Secret Identity?
ReplyDeleteThe house looks wonderful...love the color combo.
ReplyDeleteSpike thinking: Yep, just another day in the life of a super hero. Meow!
