I dunno, grilled bananas for Bastille Day?????
I start the grill and later I am carrying out the veggie skewers and my rotten French sock monkey Georges Le Soq is about to put a banana on the grill and I am like
"Georges, a banana? Yuck" and Georges is like
"Your eggplant on zee grill, ees better??? You Americans, so strange, you no celebrate properly, on July 14. Le Bastille Day, non?"
and I am like
"Georges, I am going to have a martini and ignore you".
Grilled bananas, grilled pineapple, all tasty. Goes well with grilled zucchini, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteGrilled bananas are good with a little ice cream... or so I've been told.
