apple sauce! the computer kind....

I am fiddling here with an enormous, to me, mac laptop. I don't know how to do stuff on it, but most seems easy---but how do you get, for example, properties of a photo? That is what I usually do, post pics in an album at facebook then copy the properties onto blogger. The http address is there, but that does not seem to be the full properties. ANYWAY, I am lovin' the mac! Big and quick!

Me and the wife biked on the Cayuga lakefront again Sunday--next year the trail will supoosedly be many miles longer, which is amazing, as it already many miles long and AWESOME. The ducks and geese are mighty friendly....

dig this teapot below. I liked the first so much I quickly made its brother.....yes, the zebra head sits atop a column, why the heck not?

I need a formalish portrait and head shot. I am rebellious. I am a scruffy bohemian. This is ME.

We went down to the farmer's market, where, as you will recall, I am in a big ART FAIR Friday, and saw our pal Christi with her fantastic drawings and paintings....
We also saw my old pal Jolene down at the farmer's market, so smart, so creative and friendly! She is a woodworker and sculptor, check her out!

  1. Macs ARE awesome.

I predict you will sell a zillion zebra teapots!

Oh, my gosh: those are fabulous! Lots of people use black and white as their kitchen decor, too.

    Genius!!!

  2. and in answer to that question....

Click on image then drag and drop it onto your desktop.

Control + click on the Mac gives you the drop down menu.

Command + A to select all - Command key is the key with the Apple logo on it next to the space bar
    Command + C to Copy
    Command + V to paste

  3. Love the zebra pots!
Once you get the hang of the mac, you will never go back. I still have to look at a cheat sheet for the commands...but it is getting easier.

  5. BIG G! MAC?! WHOOOOOP! FYI, the apple.com website has tutorials. You can search for anything you want to do. I can't wait until you start making music videos and playing around in Garage Band (which I have yet to delve into after all these years).

You will LOVE your rockin' rippin' MAC! Congrats!

FYI, on the way home from Arkansas this summer the kids were asleep because it was like 7:am but I passed a zebra farm! I thought of you. There were like four cows and 20 zebras in sight! :-P

  6. Macs rule, Macs rock! Gosh I love mine. You will get it, and never go back. I only use my pc when I absolutely have to.
I used to always use NT when I was using a pc, so not all that drastic a difference for me. Just way simpler. You will love it, love it!
Great Zebra pottery, and love the fair pics....:)

  8. YAY! Look at your dropping some Mac knowledge. Love it! You will love it. Welcome to the world of easy computing. Now when someone tells you that you just like Macs cuz they are trendy and you're a sheep you will get the urge to slap them across the face!

  10. oh please tell me you will be doing more of the zebra teapots and putting them in your Etsy shop. I like them even better than the blue teapot with the teapot know type that I have been saving for.
