GENIUS body work

You will recall that we got ourselves a (new to us!) Silver Subie back in August, and naturally, since the car was so gorgeous, some assh*le did a hit and run on it when it was parked on the street shortly thereafter. If we are talking severity, 10 being the car was totaled, 1 being hardly noticeable, it was a 1.2 Noticeable and highly irritating in a new (to US!) car. Dang! I am sure that Santa gave that anonymous person half a lump of coal for Christmas and likely the Easter bunny pooped in their basket.
OK, the wife thought an advertising magnet would cover it up, and I was thinking of having a body shop bang it more or less flat then paint flames on the car. I still may do that, but first, for now, check it OUT. If you know online printers vistaprint, then you know they email you every day. When I saw 'free car magnet!' it was time. Looking TRES GOOD eh? The wife = genius.

  1. that's very cool! i was going to do that when i was selling real estate. here is my un-asked for advice: i was told to be really careful with it...be sure to clean under it often so it doesn't scratch your paint. i don't remember everything else they said but i am sure you can google it.

  4. Brilliant. I'll be interested in seeing how many people purchase pottery from you because of it.

  5. Good idea. Did you order a second one for when that one gets stolen? ;)

  6. I think that magnet officially makes your car a tax write off! I don't actually know what a write off is, but I know they are good and people want them.

    Good idea, Maude!

  7. Awesomeness!

This wouldn't work for me though because I never just end up with a little ding in my door - My cars always ends up totaled out.
